New content and updates:

This site was last updated on 16/08/2010

Would all visitors to this site please note that the HSBC Bank UK Pensioners' Association does not handle pension enquiries and has no access to information about individual pensions.  Please make contact to the relevant area listed further down this page.

Autumn Programme of visits is now available in the Members' area.

Bulletin Board

Click on the button on the left The Forum to go to the new Bulletin Board feature we are calling The Forum. It is open to anyone who wishes to register and we hope it will attract the interest of all HSBC Pensioners, whether in the UK or overseas. When you visit, do please leave a message or reply to an existing message.  There is no point to The Forum if no one posts any messages!

I have been forced to change the way new members register for The Forum which means that they will need to wait for approval before being admitted to the bulletin boards.  It should not take long.  This is because some demented people think it is somehow clever to flood the boards with large numbers of bogus registrations which I have then to ban and delete - Forum Administrator.

The Members' Area

Normally the members' area is intended and reserved for members of the London Region of the Association, as it is of little relevance to others.  You can gain access to the Members' Area only by registering and obtaining a user logon ID. Register and we will send you a logon ID which you can then use to access the Members' Area pages.  Please click the Member Logon button and register.

London Centre

The London Centre is the largest of local centres affiliated to the HSBC Bank UK Pensioners' Association.  It boasts nine local groups, all spaced geographically around the capital, each with regular coffee mornings.  The Centre is open to all members of the Pensioners' Association living in and around the Greater London area.

Please note that even HSBC pensioners who do not receive their pension directly from the Group can join by virtue of Rule 3 of the constitution: "Membership shall be open to all retired members of staff who receive their pensions from HSBC Bank plc or its Pension Funds and to retired staff, who although eligible to receive an immediate pension due from the HSBC Pension Fund, choose to administer their own pension fund arrangements."

The objects of the Association are to safeguard and further the interests of its members and to provide, where practicable, opportunities for the members to meet.

This website is owned and maintained by the London Centre itself, and is therefore independent of the HSBC Group.
